What Secretary does

Secretary is summons and minutes software for Freemasons. Upload your lodge’s recent summons and minutes once, as Word files: every new one is an exact copy of yours (crest, fonts, layout, tables and agenda), with the meeting’s date, number, time, venue, previous meeting and attendance filled in by the built-in AI Secretary. The Secretary reads it, changes what is different, confirms it and emails a PDF to every member in good standing.

About Secretary

Will it look like our summons?
Yes. Upload the summons and minutes as the Word files (.docx) you write them in, and AshlarIQ keeps your own file as the template: each draft is that file with the meeting’s details changed, and new agenda items or table rows copy the ones next to them. The PDF is made from it on AshlarIQ’s own servers. If your file uses a font AshlarIQ doesn’t have, it tells you, and you can upload the font. No Word file? Use AshlarIQ’s classic standard design instead.
Does it use an outside AI service?
No. The AI Secretary is built into AshlarIQ and works from your Word files and your lodge’s records. Nothing is sent to an outside AI service, and PDFs are made on AshlarIQ’s own servers.
Who receives the summons?
Every member in good standing or in arrears with an email address gets a personal copy as a PDF, so addresses are never shared between brethren. Replies go straight to the Secretary’s own inbox.
Do we need to set up an email server?
No. AshlarIQ is fully hosted and sends the email for you. There is nothing to install or configure.
