What Pay does
Pay gives every member one page with what they owe: this year’s dues, any arrears and their unpaid event bookings. They pay in three ways. Cash: the Treasurer says how (for example at any meeting) and records it as usual. Bank transfer or PromptPay: members pay the lodge’s account and send a photo of the slip, which the Treasurer checks against the bank statement and approves in one click, issuing the receipt. Online: the lodge connects its own Stripe account in one step, and members pay on Stripe’s secure page with the methods the lodge has switched on there, such as cards, PromptPay and wallets. Online payments go straight to the lodge’s account, are matched to the right member and year automatically, and the member gets a numbered receipt by email.

About Pay
- Who holds the money?
- The lodge. Online payments go straight into the lodge’s own Stripe account and on to its bank. AshlarIQ never holds members’ money and adds no fee; Stripe’s own processing fees apply.
- Which payment methods can members use?
- Cash, bank transfer or PromptPay (members send the slip for the Treasurer to approve), and online whatever your Stripe account offers in your country, such as cards, PromptPay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. You choose them in Stripe.
- How do we connect Stripe?
- The Treasurer pastes the lodge’s Stripe secret key once on the Payment settings page. AshlarIQ checks it, sets up payment confirmations automatically and stores the key encrypted.
