What Events does
Events handles bookings for installations, ladies’ nights, charity dinners and socials, using the members you already have. Officers set the date, venue, price per person, seat limit and booking deadline; members book their own seat and their guests from any phone; officers see every booking, mark who has paid and email the event to the lodge. Each booking comes with a QR pass on the member’s phone: at the door, an officer scans it with their own phone’s camera, or ticks the name off the list. When an event is full, members join a waiting list and are booked automatically, in turn, when seats come free. Open events can be listed on your public website.

About Events
- Can guests who aren’t members come?
- Yes. Each member can bring as many guests as the officers allow for that event, and gives each guest’s name, menu choice and dietary needs when booking.
- Can members pay for their bookings online?
- Yes, with Pay: members pay for their seats and guests online through the lodge’s own Stripe account, and the booking is marked paid automatically. Officers can still mark cash payments by hand.
