What Announcements does
Announcements lets the Secretary send the lodge’s notices from one place: a change of venue, a bereavement, a reminder about dues. Choose who it is for (every member, officers only, Master Masons or one membership type), send it now or schedule it, and choose whether it is also emailed. Members see it in the portal, with a dot on the bell for anything new, and officers see every announcement and when it went out.

About Announcements
- Do members need to sign in to get announcements?
- No. If you choose email, every member in the audience with an email address gets it, whether or not they use AshlarIQ. Members who sign in also see it in the portal.
- Can we schedule an announcement?
- Yes. Pick the date and time in your lodge’s time zone; it goes out then, in the portal and by email.
